New FLEXCUBE Release Helps Manage Banking's Biggest Challenges

In a move to help banks comply with changing government regulations, better monitor fraud, and manage risk more effectively, i-flex solutions recently launched Release 10.0 of its FLEXCUBE universal banking solution (UBS).

FLEXCUBE streamlines banking business processes, tracks and administers complex transactions, and improves customer service with custom processes designed for servicing a variety of financial services customers.

The new release contains a comprehensive set of Web services for transactional and business-process orchestration using Oracle Fusion Middleware. Oracle's platform takes advantage of open standards such as J2EE, which provides a framework for FLEXCUBE's new task-based user interface for easy access to task lists, customer profiles, and transaction context.

Business activity monitoring technologies in Oracle Fusion Middleware provide dashboards for measuring process performance and identifying bottlenecks that impede process improvements.

"Banks want to achieve competitive differentiation by developing innovative business offerings and fine-tune their processes based on insight and measurement. This release of FLEXCUBE enables banks to achieve this holistically," says Joseph John, executive vice president in the banking products division of i-flex solutions.

In other news, i-flex also launched the FLEXCUBE Private Banking Suite, a solution that integrates with back-office applications to improve customer, transaction, and portfolio management activities for affluent, high net-worth banking customers.

The company also released a new version of FLEXCUBE Investor Services, with new tools for automating an investment fund company's transaction processing, registry, transfer agency, and fund-distribution functions.
