Oracle Unveils New Financial Services Global Business Unit

In an exclusive executive briefing held in New York City, Oracle unveiled its new global business unit dedicated to what top executives from Oracle and i-flex solutions call "future proofing" the financial services industry.

The Financial Services Global Business Unit (FSGBU) will bring together vertical applications and services from i-flex and Oracle into a comprehensive and integrated suite of solutions for financial institutions. The FSGBU will "enable financial institutions to excel through the effective use of information technology," said Rajesh Hukku, senior vice president of the FSGBU and chairman of i-flex solutions.

The launch brought together Charles Phillips, Oracle president, and FSGBU executives R. Ravisankar, Don Russo and Deepak Ghaisas, in addition to Hukku.
