New Webcast: Low-Risk, High-Impact Portal Strategies for 2009 How can enterprise portals help you do more with less? Learn about the low-risk, high-impact changes you can make to your portal infrastructure in a new Oracle-sponsored Webcast with Matthew Brown, principal analyst and research director at Forrester, and Oracle Vice President Vince Casarez. They discuss the best ways to adapt your enterprise portal strategy to create new business value at affordable cost and resource levels.

Casarez, who heads product management for portal and Web 2.0 technology at Oracle, details the specific Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies that customers are using to make a big difference in the value they get from their existing portal investments.

For example, an insurance company quickly integrated Oracle Real-Time Decisions into an existing portal. As a result, the sales site user experience was simplified and the company can now identify up-sell opportunities as a user moves through the website. With this single change, the company improved the volume as well as the quality of each insurance package sold.

Other examples demonstrate how customers improved operational efficiencies by using Oracle WebCenter Suite to integrate enterprise applications and content management systems into a more seamless experience for users. One business integrated Oracle Universal Content Management and other products into its portal using WebCenter Suite. Now when a customer logs in, he or she views more relevant and more complete product information—helping the company cut down on costly support calls.

Hear these and other ways to adapt your enterprise portal strategy to create new business value at affordable cost and resource levels. Register and watch the recorded Webcast.
