Oracle to Hit 100 Cities in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Forum World Tour

The theme of the Oracle Fusion Middleware Forum World Tour, “Driving business efficiency and expansion,” is relevant and timely given today’s business realities. The recently launched world tour will cover more than 100 cities around the globe to get customers and partners up to speed with the latest on middleware technologies and implementation techniques.

The free, full-day events kicked off in October and run through the first half of 2009. The program spans from the middleware business case and benefits to technical drill-down sessions. IT executives, managers, and applications technologists will benefit from the discussions on middleware patterns and practices, customer case studies, and strategies for extending packaged applications.

Highlights

Two keynote sessions explore how a flexible middleware foundation can differentiate a business, both in times of consolidation as well as expansion. The keynote lineup includes an interactive customer case study featuring Marvel Entertainment and the unveiling of Oracle’s application grid strategy.

Technical Breakout Sessions

Three technical tracks feature a full afternoon of breakout sessions to complement the business discussions:

  • Application Infrastructure: Application Server, Application Grids, Distributed Transaction Processing, Systems Management
  • Processes, People, and Information: Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Business Process Management, Data Integration and Master Data Management, Content Management and Enterprise 2.0 Portals
  • Risk Mitigation: Identity Management, SOA Governance
  • Enterprise Performance Management*: Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, Analytic Applications
    * In some cities
