New Release of AutoVue Enterprise Visualization Streamlines Supply Chain Collaboration

As part of its effort to make business and technical information available to all users across the enterprise, Oracle has released the latest version of Oracle's AutoVue Enterprise Visualization solution. Release 19.3 introduces AutoVue Mobile, a new product within the AutoVue software suite that helps global organizations solve document interoperability and security challenges that often hinder effective supply chain collaboration.

With the rise in outsourced manufacturing, global manufacturers are increasingly looking for ways to securely and effectively collaborate with their supply chain partners and customers, but efforts are often hampered by the use of disparate computer-aided Design (CAD) applications and enterprise systems. Increased concerns around document security add to the challenge.

In addition, offline collaboration capabilities of AutoVue Mobile allow teams to securely share key design and product information with partners while providing the context surrounding the documents. Partners then can rely on complete information to make sound business decisions and provide constructive feedback; organizations can easily integrate partners into their business workflows, improving productivity, quality, and efficiency.

"The combined use of AutoVue and AutoVue Mobile strengthens supply chain collaboration initiatives by extending the reach of technical documents and business processes to outsourced partners," said Paul Giaconia, Oracle group vice president, application development,. "Users can easily and securely share, view, and digitally annotate virtually any document type, without requiring the original authoring applications."

AutoVue and AutoVue Mobile can be integrated into leading enterprise systems such as product lifecycle management (PLM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and supply chain management (SCM) applications.
