Case Management and Business Intelligence Transform Government Services

No matter where they are or what political structure they adhere to, government agencies around the world all grapple with a common challenge: finding ways to improve their interactions with constituents while managing the pressure of constantly rising case loads.

Siebel Public Sector Brings Insight to Agencies
Newly updated, Oracle's Siebel Public Sector 8.0 addresses government agency needs with tools tailored to help public sector organizations improve customer service, boost productivity through integrated case management processes, and provide new business intelligence capabilities for greater insight into agency performance.

For example, analytics in Siebel Public Sector 8.0 produce actionable insight across all the various roles that keep agencies running. Case workers can now see indicators that measure their performance against peers in their organization for instant feedback on how they compare to both organization averages and their individual targets.

For managers, analytics can provide an early warning of impending bottlenecks so they can take corrective action, such as reassigning staff, before backlogs occur. Similarly, executive dashboards give department heads a global view of performance through a collection of metrics summaries contained in a single screen.

More Deep-Dive Analytics
The new release of Siebel Public Sector also offers analytical add-ons that help agencies customize the application to their particular requirements. For example, the standard case management analytics help agencies track the progress of social services and investigative cases, maintain applicant inventories, and monitor case loads.

On top of these capabilities, Siebel Public Sector also offers a case investigations analytics option that can track external incidents and investigative leads as part of the overall case management process. In addition, a benefits management analytics option offers a deep dive into the agency's workload by tracking the various types of clients being served, as well as the level of benefits and services being delivered by the organization.

'Oracle's Siebel Public Sector solutions help agencies deliver what citizens and businesses are demanding: convenient, one-stop access to benefits and services, consistent information across communication channels and regions, and easy-to-follow instructions and procedures,' says Juan Rada, Oracle senior vice president for the public sector industry.
