NRF Preview: Oracle to Demonstrate "Next-Generation Retail" at January's BIG Show
At this year's NRF BIG Show—to be held in New York City January 13–16—Oracle will unveil a combination of current offerings and forward–looking strategy that make up what is being called "Next–Generation Retail."
Already, Oracle customers are, on average, 32 percent more profitable than peers that don't use Oracle products. Current and planned innovations are being engineered to build on this momentum.
In booth 301 of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, Oracle will demonstrate how, through a combination of embedded best practices and unprecedented solution integration, it is transforming four key retail business processes: multichannel integration, inventory planning and allocation, integrated business planning, and store operations.
In addition, presentations will address core enterprise resource planning functions, such as human resources, customer relationship management, and store lifecycle management. Others will focus on technology issues of special interest to retailers, such as Oracle Fusion for Retail, Oracle Store Fusion, Tooling, Retail Portal, and End–to–End Inventory Planning.
"At this year's BIG Show, we’re demonstrating how, in the wake of significant development effort and continued customer momentum, Oracle has, quite simply, created the broadest, most global, most integrated, End–to–End retail offerings available," says Duncan Angove, general manager and senior vice president of Oracle Retail.
