New Features in Oracle Retail Release 13 Target Global Retailers of All Sizes

From expanded wholesale functionality to support for multiple sets of books, Oracle Retail Release 13 offers key new features designed to maximize returns for both midsize and major retailers expanding across global markets.

Multiple Sets of Books and Beyond
Retailers doing business in multiple countries and currencies can now quickly roll up financial information to a single instance of their general ledger or other financials applications.

New Stock Ledger VAT enhancements also make it easier to do business across borders, providing more business agility for growth.

Expanded Wholesale Functionality
By offering significantly expanded support for wholesale operations, Oracle Retail Release 13 is also helping open up new markets for global retailers.

"Tapping into wholesale markets is a benefit to retailers in both existing and expanding markets," says David Boyce, vice president of product strategy, Oracle Retail. "It's a key way in which Oracle Retail Release 13 provides additional value to customers seeking to grow market share."

Targeting Midsize Global Retailers
For midsize retailers in both global and emerging markets, Oracle Retail Merchandising offers a Standard Edition that delivers complete, integrated merchandising functionality while minimizing total cost of ownership (TCO).

Key features include corporate-level inventory management, table-driven security, and robust new operating tools. And retailers can expect to keep both implementation and management costs low as a result of running on a single technology stack with Oracle Retail Release 13.
