JD EDWARDS U.S. PAYROLL CUSTOMERS-INDIANA STATE MAGNETIC MEDIA CHANGES
Effective January 30, 2007, Indiana made changes to their W2 state magnetic media filing requirements for the 2006 tax year. New records were added (RW, RT) and the RS record was changed to include the employer TID location in position 341. ORACLE ANNOUNCES MINIMUM TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR JD EDWARDS WORLD A9.1
The minimum technical requirements for JD Edwards World A9.1 have been posted to the Customer Connection upgrade resources page, where you'll also find all the new JD Edwards World upgrade tools. The operating system requirement for JD Edwards World A9.1 is IBM release V5R3. Visit the page on Customer Connection.
SUPPORT ROADMAP FOR IBM OPERATING SYSTEM RELEASES
IBM has announced the end-support date for V5R2 as April 30, 2007. Oracle has committed to supporting JD Edwards World running on V5R2 for six additional months. All customers on older versions of this operating system are strongly encouraged to upgrade to V5R3 or V5R4 to align with IBM's support horizon. Visit the IBM website for more information.
