JD EDWARDS ENTERPRISEONE TOOLS 8.97 AVAILABLE
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 8.97 is immediately available on the Update Center via Customer Connection for existing customers. Access the JD EnterpriseOne Tools pages first, then the "Implementing New 8.97 Functionality" guide. Customers who want to use business services, enhanced XMLP, effective dates for daylight saving time, developer productivity enhancements, and security enhancements will need to download the planner ESU (electronic software update) JK14575 and the baseline ESU JK14530.

ENTERPRISEONE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE CONSOLE AVAILABLE
The EnterpriseOne Financial Management and Compliance Console is now generally available for 8.11SP1 and 8.12 customers and provides operational users with a collection of metrics, key performance indicators, and compliance alerts. It’s also available through your local Global Customer Care Center. Please review the Minimum Technical Requirements before applying the ASU, and note that there are also special instructions included on the Update Center home page.

All release documents have now been posted for the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial Management and Compliance Console for 8.11 SP1 and 8.12. Release documents include the Statement of Direction, Release Value Proposition, Release Notes, and Implementation Guide. In addition, there is a data sheet now available, as well as a recorded functional TOI (Transfer of Information).

JD EDWARDS ENTERPRISEONE 2007 U.S. AND CANADIAN YEAR-END PROCESSING

These Transfer of Information (TOI) courses, formerly known as Seminars On Demand or Net Change, cover new functional and technical enhancements available in recent releases of PeopleSoft Enterprise, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and JD Edwards World applications.
TOIs are free to all customers with support contracts. You can access TOI courses via Customer Connection.

MINIMUM TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR IBM OPERATING SYSTEM
IBM announced the end-support date for V5R2 as April 30, 2007. Oracle committed to support JD Edwards World running on V5R2 for six additional months. The IBM operating system requirement is now V5R3 for JD Edwards World. All customers on prior operating systems are strongly encouraged to upgrade to V5R4 to align with IBM’s support horizon. Customers should upgrade to a minimum of V5R3 to ensure they will be able to download the 2008 year-end tax updates for JD Edwards World.
