Database Migration Assistance "R3LOAD" – SAP Certified Assistance to plan and deploy a database migration to Oracle

Oracle Advanced Customer Services SAP Migration Engineers are SAP Basic Migration Certified, an SAP requirement for migrating between Database Technologies. Oracle's SAP Migration Engineers are experienced in assisting customers to effectively, quickly and safely move from other Database Technologies (for example, MaxDB, Informix, DB2, and SQL Server) to Oracle.

Oracle will provide the following services:

Perform database migration activities related to the migration from your existing non-Oracle database technologies to an Oracle database within the context of your SAP certified application environment.

Such services shall be performed by an SAP BASIS certified Oracle resource.

Note: You must provide sufficient source and target storage space to support the data migration.

Database Reorganizations – Using O2O tools and services to assist with reorganizing databases and tablespaces

Oracle will provide the following services:

Review and evaluate individual tablespaces and/or your entire database and provide recommendations on how Oracle database technology may be used to improve tablespace organization to improve database performance, stability and flexibility in an SAP certified application environment.

HW Migration "O2O" – Oracle ACS as Advise and Assist - Advise with use of "O2O", to enable self execution of migrations

Migration to new operating systems, often require significant time to migrate the large volumes of data. Oracle ACS will plan and execute a migration that can significantly reduce the amount of time required through use of "transportable tablespace option" techniques and "O2O" (Oracle to Oracle) services. Typically customers can achieve data migration times of 300GB to 600 GB each hour with the assistance of Oracle Advanced Customer Services and associated tools and methodologies.

Oracle will provide the following services:

Information, assistance and access to Oracle tools to enable you to perform your own data migration (s) between hardware platforms for your Oracle databases operating in an SAP certified application environment.

HW Migration "O2O" – Oracle Advanced Customer Services as Provider - Assist with planning for and executing migrations using "O2O" tools and services
