Luc Opdebeeck is Sr. Vice President EMEA Hardware Strategy, Business Development and Specialty Sales.

Mr Opdebeeck is responsible for driving the implementation of the HW Strategy in EMEA & the go-to-market aspects of the strategy, in line with corporate playbooks and roadmaps. He supports the field with a team of server sales specialist, a solutions development group of people and is responsible for driving product life cycle management.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Opdebeeck was Vice President, Europe Systems Line of Business (Servers and Storage).

Mr Opdebeeck joined Sun in 1994 after interesting careers at Price Waterhouse, Apple Computer and Microsoft. He has a university degree in Commercial & Financial Science from HUB university in Brussels and also a Master's degree in Finance from the same university.

He is based in Brussels, but lives near Antwerp with his family (father of 3). He speaks 4 languages fluently and has good understanding of another 4.
