User Groups at Oracle OpenWorldOracle is once again pleased to welcome its primary worldwide users groups at Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco. All attendees are highly encouraged to engage with the APOUC (Asia-Pacific Oracle Usergroup Council), EOUC (EMEA Oracle Usergroup Council), HEUG (Higher Education User Group), IOUG (Independent Oracle Users Group), ODTUG (Oracle Development Tools User Group), OHUG (Oracle HCM Users Group), OAUG (Oracle Applications Users Group), and Quest International Users Group in a variety of ways during the week at OpenWorld. The benefits of being a member of an Oracle users group are numerous. You’ll have a collective and valued voice in to Oracle as well as a network of like-minded peers that can help you to get the most out of your signficant investment in Oracle technology and applications. Speak to the representatives from the users groups in their pavilion at Moscone West, and meet with the expert speakers presenting sessions to which group or groups will be the best fit for your area of interest. Then join! Sunday: 6th Annual Oracle Users ForumMoscone West Last year at OpenWorld more than 1,000 attendees took advantage of this excellent way to start the week. Don’t miss this chance to meet with fellow users to share best practices and tips and techniques, or simply to sit in on a Special Interest Group (SIG) meeting or session to learn how to get more out of your existing investment in Oracle technology and applications. A printed guide to all available SIG meetings and sessions will be available onsite. Special Interest GroupsJoin Oracle's worldwide users groups as they convene a multitude of Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings throughout the day. These meetings will cover a variety of topics. There’s sure to be a group of interest to you. The full list of SIG meetings can be found in the Content Catalog and individual meetings can be added to your agenda with Schedule Builder. You need not be a member of a specific SIG or affiliated users group to attend any listed meeting; you just need to have an interest in the focus of the SIG.Oracle User Groups SessionsThere will also be a host of sessions developed by users for users of Oracle. Come for the content and discover the value of the instruction available from your peers within Oracle users groups. All sessions are listed in Content Catalog and can be added to your agenda via Schedule Builder. Again, anyone registered for OpenWorld may attend any of these sessions. Visitor Plus Pass attendees that do not have access to Schedule Builder can attend any session onsite on a space available basis. Quest International Users Group SIG MeetingsHilton San Francisco In the interest of better serving those attendees coming in Tuesday, for the JD Edwards program that begins on Wednesday, Quest has organized a variety of useful SIG meetings applicable to this audience. These sessions can be found in Content Catalog. As with all user group SIG meetings, any registered attendee may attend. Sunday through ThursdayMoscone West, 2nd Level Lobby Network with members of participating users groups at the User Group Pavilion. Representatives from participating groups will be on hand to meet with existing members to share latest developments and gain feedback, while prospective members will have the chance to discover the benefits of membership in one or more of the groups. Those customers that are new to Oracle by virtue of a recent acquisition should come and meet with these users groups to explore opportunities and benefits of affiliation and representation. Beginning on Monday the hours for the Users Group Pavilion will mirror those of the Exhibition Hall in Moscone West. |
