Charles Phillips | President, Oracle | Biography [+/-]
Charles Phillips is President of Oracle Corporation and a member of the Board of Directors. He joined Oracle in 2003 and is responsible for global field operations including consulting, marketing, sales, alliances and channels, and customer programs. Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Phillips was with Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated, a global investment bank. Prior to Wall Street, Mr. Phillips served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Phillips holds a BS in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy, an MBA from Hampton University, and a JD from New York Law School. Mr. Phillips is on the boards of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, The American Museum of Natural History, New York Law School, Viacom Inc., and Morgan Stanley.
Chuck Rozwat | Executive Vice President, Product Development, Oracle | Biography [+/-]
Charles Rozwat is executive vice president of Server Technologies at Oracle, reporting to CEO Larry Ellison. Mr. Rozwat is responsible for product strategy, development, and delivery of Oracle's database products. The products that fall under Mr. Rozwat's direction include Oracle Database, Oracle Application Server and Oracle Collaboration Suite.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Rozwat was vice president of Oracle's New England Development Center with responsibilities for the RDB Data Server and the Enterprise Manager Performance Tools.
Before joining Oracle in 1994, Mr. Rozwat spent 17 years with Digital Equipment Corporation where he held several management positions and eventually came to lead Digital's database development and business division with responsibilities for strategy, development, advanced development and research, product management and marketing of Digital's Relational, CODASYL and Object Database Systems, Data Repository, and Development Tools.
Mr. Rozwat holds a bachelor's degree in finance and information systems from Marquette University.

Tom Georgens has responsibility for all product operations and field operations worldwide.
Georgens joined NetApp in October 2005 and served as the company's executive vice president of Product Operations from January 2007 until February 2008. Previously he served as NetApp's executive vice president and general manager of Enterprise Storage Systems.
Before joining NetApp, Georgens spent nine years at Engenio, a subsidiary of LSI Logic, the last two years as CEO. He also served in various other positions, including president of LSI Logic Storage Systems and executive vice president of LSI Logic. At Engenio, he built the business into a successful OEM storage provider for companies such as IBM, Sun Microsystems, StorageTek, Silicon Graphics, and NCR.
Prior to Engenio, Georgens spent 11 years at EMC in a variety of engineering and marketing positions.
Georgens holds a bachelor of science degree and a master of engineering degree in computer and systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as well as a master of business administration degree from Babson College.

Paul S. Otellini | President and CEO, Intel Corporation | Biography [+/-]
Paul S. Otellini is president and CEO of Intel Corporation, the world's leading manufacturer of microprocessors for personal and business computing. Intel technology is creating new ways for the world to work, learn and play by extending the reach of the Internet and solving business problems.
Since joining Intel in 1974, Otellini has managed several Intel businesses, including the company's PC and server microprocessor division and the global sales and marketing organization.
In 2002, Otellini was elected to Intel's board of directors and promoted to president and chief operating officer. He was named CEO in May 2005, a role in which he's focused on driving the company's growth and mission to deliver innovative, energy-efficient products. Under Otellini's guidance, Intel also aims to usher in a new era when portable wireless computing is available anytime, anywhere. The company also is focused on bringing the next billion people online with affordable computers tailored to their needs.
Otellini received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of San Francisco in 1972, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley in 1974. Otellini serves on the board of directors of Google Inc.

Thomas Kurian | Senior Vice President, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle | Biography [+/-]
Thomas Kurian is senior vice president of development for Oracle middleware platform products, including Oracle Application Server and development tools. He is responsible for shaping all technological aspects of the products' development, release process, management, and business development.
Mr. Kurian has been with Oracle since 1996, holding various product management and development positions in Oracle's Server Technologies Division. He played a key role in bringing Oracle9i Application Server to market. He also served as Oracle's vice president of e-business, driving a number of company-wide initiatives focused on transforming Oracle into an e-business.
Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Kurian worked in London, Brussels, and San Francisco as a consultant with McKinsey and Company, an international management consulting firm, serving clients in the software, telecommunications and financial services industries.
Mr. Kurian holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, summa cum laude, graduating from Princeton University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. He serves as an advisory member on the boards of several international venture funds and software companies.

Lawrence J. Ellison has been Oracle's Chief Executive Officer and a director since he co-founded the company in June 1977. Mr. Ellison served as Chairman of the Board from May 1990 until October 1992 and from June 1995 until January 2004. He served as President from May 1978 to June 1996.

Ann Livermore | Executive Vice President, Technology Solutions Group, HP | Biography [+/-]
Ann Livermore leads HP's Technology Solutions Group, a nearly $38 billion business that encompasses storage and servers, software, and services. The products and services from this organization serve HP's business customers of all sizes in more than 170 countries.
For more than two decades, Livermore has been involved with building solutions to help customers manage and transform their technology environments to optimize business outcomes. She joined HP in 1982 and held a variety of management positions in marketing, sales, research and development, and business management before being elected a corporate vice president in 1995.
Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Livermore holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University. In 1997, Livermore was elected to the board of directors of United Parcel Service. She is based in Palo Alto, California.

Mark Hurd | Chairman of the Board and CEO, HP | Biography [+/-]
Mark Hurd joined HP in early 2005 as chief executive officer and president and was named chairman of the board of directors in September 2006.
With the goal of establishing HP as the world's leading technology company, Hurd has sharpened HP's strategic focus and concentrated its investments on three long-term growth opportunities: next-generation enterprise data center architecture and services; technologies for always connected, always personal mobile experiences; and a broad transition from analog to digital imaging and printing across the consumer, commercial and industrial markets.
At the same time, Hurd has improved HP's operating efficiency and execution as well as its financial performance and customer focus. The result has been increasing growth and profitability, greater value for shareholders and customers, and a stronger competitive position in global IT markets. Between the company's 2004 and 2007 fiscal years, HP grew revenue from $80 billion to $104 billion and more than doubled its earnings per share.
Prior to joining HP, Hurd spent 25 years at NCR Corp., where he held a variety of management, operations, and sales and marketing roles. He was named chief operating officer in 2002 and chief executive officer in 2003. Under his leadership, NCR reignited growth in its core businesses and improved from a net loss of $2.25 per share in 2002 to net income of $3.03 in 2004.
Hurd is additionally a member of the News Corp. board of directors.
He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1979 from Baylor University.
