IBM at OpenWorld 2011

Through more than 24 years of consulting and systems implementing experience, Esther generates success for IBM and her enterprise-class clients, having gathered a unique purview of the business world along the way. Her consulting experience ranges from managing consulting divisions to managing full system implementations. She excels at project management, executive steering committee leadership, strategic planning and advising, process engineering, fit/gap analysis and implementation of design through go-live and post-production support. For the past several years Esther’s focus has been on large, complex implementations for state and local government, education and healthcare to help generate business and achieve greater ROI.

Currently Esther serves as a "Tiger Team" leader, an elite group of executives who secure IBM's largest and most strategic client relationships and has a thorough knowledge of IBM’s methodologies and toolsets. Prior to this role, Esther was an Oracle Practice Executive in IBM Global Services where she managed the team supporting the Oracle Public Sector as well as supervised business strategies and development, methodology, business operations, the development of implementation teams, and customer satisfaction.

Before joining IBM, Esther provided financial and human resource systems knowledge in twenty-two ERP implementations. Additionally, she directed an information systems application department for a global healthcare company. Esther developed global strategies for financial, inventory, distribution, service and quality assurance systems. She led a global team in software selection and consolidated business processes to obtain a Worldwide Business Model for implementation.

Esther earned her Associate of Arts from Miami Dade Community College and her Bachelor of Professional Studies from Barry University.
