Oracle OpenWorld 2011 opens with a bang on Sunday, with the all-day Oracle Users Forum, the Oracle PartnerNetwork Forum, and a special Oracle Welcome Keynote. Onsite registration is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and free shuttle buses run frequently between Moscone Center and Oracle OpenWorld hotels to help you get where you need to go. Don't miss the Oracle Welcome Reception at 7:00 p.m. in the Yerba Buena Gardens and Howard Street Tent.

Line up for the Oracle OpenWorld Exhibition Halls grand opening today at 9:45 a.m., right after the Oracle OpenWorld opening keynote. Monday also kicks off the schedule of regular technical sessions; Hands-on Labs; and general sessions, where development executives and partners discuss specific product areas. After-hours Monday features OTN Night, a tech-fest with free entertainment, software, and refreshments. A favorite gathering for developers every year, OTN Night is open to all full-conference attendees.
