The Oracle Store offers branded merchandise to employees and visitors at worldwide headquarters in Redwood Shores, California. The retail team supports a pop-up Oracle Store at the annual Oracle OpenWorld conference. Selling technical books and promotional items, this store handles thousands of transactions each day. Naturally, the team uses the Oracle Retail platform to track sales figures, stock levels, and all the other data associated with the daily running of the store. This technology is combined with specialized tools to handle certain stages of the transaction process, such as securing credit card data at the point of sale.
