Give Code
Do you have a favorite home-built function or procedure that you want to share with other Oracle users?
Do you have a custom JDBC code snippet for connecting your application to an Oracle database that you think everyone should know about?
Do you have some custom Java code that just makes life easier for you and your Oracle-based applications?
For several years, we have been accepting code tips from Oracle users.
From the code we receive, we publish one code tip per week at www.oracle.com/technology/oramag/code.
If you have code you want to share with the Oracle user community, you can share it right here. Use our code tip form to submit your code, and check the code tip page weekly to see if we have published your code tip.
Notes:
We cannot publish all code that is submitted. The best code of all the code received is selected for publication. A code tip posted in a given week was not necessarily submitted that week. The process of evaluating and posting a code tip generally takes four to eight weeks.
Code that generates errors during our testing process will not be published. Code that does things considered unsafe or considered not best practices coding will not be published. Code that repeats the purpose of recently published code will usually not be published.
