NEW ORACLE PARTNERNETWORK SOLUTIONS CATALOG

Oracle will be launching a new version of the Oracle PartnerNetwork Solutions Catalog on December 5, 2011. The Solutions Catalog – an important benefit of your Oracle PartnerNetwork membership – is Oracle's centralized record of our partners, and the services and solutions provided. The primary audience comprises customers and partners looking to do business with an Oracle partner.

In preparation for the new Solutions Catalog, there will be a quiet period on the current Solutions Catalog from November 24 through December 4, 2011. You will not be able to access your Solutions Catalog account during this time.

New Functionality
We will be rebuilding the Solutions Catalog with enhanced functionality based on customer and partner feedback:

• A media-rich gateway to the Solutions Catalog that helps customers find the appropriate partner solution
• Streamlined search interface to make it easier for customers to connect with partner companies
• Request for contact information for valuable collateral (Featured Downloads)
• Customers and partners will have the ability to recommend partner companies and solutions
• Improved profile creation/publication process

One of the enhancements will include a creation of a basic profile for OPN partner companies that do not have profiles on the current Solutions Catalog. If you do not have a profile currently, a basic company profile will become searchable on December 5. You will be receiving a notification with instructions on how to modify the profile, create profiles about solutions, or opt-out of the Solutions Catalog.

For those partners with profiles on the current Solutions Catalog, existing profile(s) will be moved over to the new version at launch.
