On July 28, 2011, Oracle announced that is has agreed to acquire InQuira, a leading provider of best in class service knowledge management software that supports web self-service and agent assisted service. The proposed transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, and is expected to close in the fall of 2011. Until the transaction closes, each company will continue to operate independently and continue to conduct their respective business as usual.
