The Java Platform, Micro Edition Specialization recognizes partner organizations that are proficient in selling, implementing and/or developing applications to all types of mobile handsets.

The Java platform, Micro Edition is a set of technologies that let the developer deliver applications and services to all types of mobile handsets and other embedded devices. Topics covered in this Specialization include: JTWI (JSR-185), CLDC 1.0 and 1.1, Security, Networking, Application Model, Delivery, Lifecycle, Provisioning, MDI Persistent Storage, Push Registry, MIDP User Interface (UI) API, MIDP Game API, Media using MIDP 2.0 and MMAPI 1.1, Wireless Messaging API 1.1.

Oracle partners who achieve this Specialization are differentiated in the marketplace through proven expertise in Java Platform, Micro Edition solutions.
