So far BPA was based on Aris 7.x, a product of Software AG (developed by IDS Scheer). BPA will be supported until 2013, when a last version based on Aris 8 can be expected. In the future Oracle will offer BPM Process Composer Extensions which provide process decomposition / modeling, provide value chains, strategy maps, objectives, org. models etc.

The message is: BPM Suite 12 will be opened to integrate with other EA/BPA tools through import/export functionality. One of the first partners is Troux.
