WEBCENTER SITES ENABLEMENT ARCHITECTURE AND ADMINISTRATION WORKSHOP

Workshop Description Oracle WebCenter Sites offers advanced yet easy to use capabilities for creating a rich and engaging online experience for customers across Web, mobile, and social channels, to build loyalty, drive customer acquisition, and reduce operational costs. Oracle WebCenter Sites meets the new Web experience management (WEM) imperative by connecting the online experience across channels, to meet the demands of today's customers. With the WEM solution from Oracle WebCenter Sites, organizations can rapidly create, deploy, and manage multiple Web properties, while empowering business users to manage Websites themselves and the content and campaigns deployed on them.

This workshop is FREE for Oracle System Integrator and ISV partners. Participants will learn about building a new content management site, user management, content design, content management site user interface administration, site configuration, and publishing. Participants will learn how to display content on a rendered website. The course identifies and describes the most common JSP tags. Using these tags and a specific rendering model, participants will develop templates to display the content managed in their editorial site.

Required Prerequisites

  • Experience in web application or web site development (using Java, JSP, ASP, XML, X/HTML, CSS)
  • Familiarity with WebCenter Sites Content Server concepts and high level architecture
