StorageTek Tape Libraries Specialization Criteria


StorageTek tape Libraries is a Qualifying Specialization.

This Specialization focuses on Oracle's StorageTek SL500, SL3000, and SL8500 Modular Library Systems, which combine open design with high availability and scalability features to deliver a tape automation environment that minimizes power, space, and operating costs while maintaining world-class service levels. Covering departmental, midrange, and enterprise applications, the Specialization recognizes partners that have demonstrated through testing their firm's ability to:

  • Identify sales opportunities for StorageTek SL500, SL3000, and SL8500 Modular Library Systems
  • Position StorageTek SL500, SL3000, and SL8500 Modular Library Systems with their customers
  • Configure StorageTek SL500, SL3000, and SL8500 Modular Library Systems
* Please note that the StorageTek SL150 Modular Tape Library does not require StorageTek Tape Libraries Specialization. Storagetek SL150 competency is required for Oracle tape resell rights. Partners with existing resell rights can access the SL150 Sales GLP here and the SL150 Presales GLP here.
