Oracle Secure Enterprise Search (SES) 10g Workshop (2 days)

Workshop Description

These two FREE 2 day workshops provide attendees with hands-on experience using Oracle Secure Enterprise Search (SES), an open and standards-based infrastructure for securely searching to all of your organization's data sources - web sites, file servers, content management systems, applications and databases.

SES has had a successful first fiscal year, both in terms of customer adoption (over 80 customers worldwide) and industry recognition (e.g, KM World Trend-Setting Product of the Year award).

Built on award-wining Oracle Text technology, Oracle SES not only provides an easy-to-use interface, but also is able to handle the complexity of enterprise security policies, federate search across organizations and business applications, and deliver the right result in a scalable and high performance way. Experience how Oracle SES Server helps to rapidly access the information to gain insight into business, ensure compliance with government regulations and optimize business processes.

The upcoming 10.1.8.2 release includes many exciting new capabilities, including connectivity to UCM, search results clustering and thesaurus support.

By walking through building enterprise search application samples, learn how to build search applications using Oracle SES, manage security policies and connect to enterprise data sources. Explore and master all the ins and outs of Oracle SES for design, deployment, and management of your enterprise search solution.
