By promoting members' SaaS solutions, Oracle provides to customers and partners the ability to leverage the ecosystem of SaaS solutions built with Oracle technology and/or integrated with Oracle Applications. Oracle’s leading database, middleware, applications and services provide partners with a rich platform and customer base for their SaaS offerings.

Independent Software Vendors (SaaS Application Providers)

• Leverage Oracle technology to support multi-tenancy, multi-instance, security, usability and service-level management requirements of providing software as a service
• Create secure on-demand applications with the most advanced security capabilities including Transparent Data Encryption, Virtual Private Database, Identity Management, strong authentication support and much more
• With support for Grid Computing, add capacity and maintain the quality of your service as your number of customers grows
• Accelerate your time-to-market with a pre-integrated, standards-based, and comprehensive platform for building SaaS applications
• Integrate your on-premise and on-demand solutions with Oracle Applications and Siebel CRM On Demand

Systems Integrators

• Implement, integrate and deploy Oracle infrastructure and Oracle Applications and other third party applications running in multiple models
• Expand service offerings to incorporate SaaS solutions and increase your bottomline with existing Oracle technology and applications customers
• Be on top of your customers' needs by offering solutions appropriate for their business models

Hosting and Infrastructure Providers

• Host the Oracle infrastructure for ISV solutions
• Host Oracle On Demand
• Provide the hardware or infrastructure technology for Oracle SaaS Platform, Oracle Applications and ISV solutions

To participate in the Software-as-a-Service Initiative, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be an Oracle PartnerNetwork member in good standing
• Be integrating your SaaS solution with or have a SaaS solution that incorporates products in Product Focus Area(s) in which you are accepted. Eligible Product Focus Areas include: Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Business Intelligence - Technology, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, JD Edwards World, Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft Enterprise, Siebel
  (Note: If you are integrating with an Oracle Applications product - JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, JD Edwards World, Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft Enterprise, Siebel - that integration work should be done by participating in the Oracle Application Integration Architecture for Partners Initiative.)
• Have a published profile on Oracle PartnerNetwork Solutions Catalog
