Oracle Linux and Oracle VM 1-Click Enhancements
Oracle is extending the use of 1-Click ordering of Oracle Linux and Oracle VM support which simplifies the order process for customers, OPN members and VADs.
Effective September 27, 2013, Oracle Linux and Oracle VM support will be available to order as 1-Click parts. If you order these products as 1-Click parts, the end user will be directed to the 1-Click OLOVMSA site where they will accept the 1-Click OLOVMSA. When the 1-Click part is ordered, there will be no need to obtain a signed OLOVMSA prior to the submission of the order to Oracle.
If you are an OPN member who deals through an Oracle Value Added Distributor please contact them for further information.
If you are an OPN member who deals directly with Oracle and have a valid Enterprise Linux & Oracle VM Support Addendum to your FUDA you can choose to order using 1-Click parts with the customer accepting the 1-Click OLOVMSA agreement or choose the current process which will still require the submission of a signed OLOVMSA at the time of the order being booked.
We would encourage you to review all of your active proposals for Oracle Linux or Oracle VM and where appropriate use 1-Click ordering.
OPN members at the Silver level will only be able to place Oracle VM and Oracle Linux Support orders using the 1-Click parts from December 1st 2013. Please note OPN members at the Silver level in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom and United States have transitioned to 1-Click only ordering effective September 1st, 2013.
All orders of the standard parts continue to require that a signed OLOVMSA be supplied at the time of order.
