Program Overview The Oracle PartnerNetwork Portal is the single point
of entry for all partnering activity with Oracle Corporation. It is the worldwide
framework from which all Oracle partner initiatives flow. With three Partner
Levels ( Partner, Certified, and Certified Advantage) and two Partner Tracks
(Internet Platform and E-Business Suite), OPN addresses the needs of a broad
partner community. Whether you are an ISV, Systems Integrator, Value Added Reseller,
Hardware/Infrastructure, VAD, Content Provider or Education Provider, OPN has
many opportunities and initiatives to complement your business.
The Oracle PartnerNetwork enables you to join OPN, to manage
your OPN membership and to leverage the services of OPN. In addition, OPN is
the home of valuable partner specific information covering Technical Services,
Consulting Services, Marketing, Sales, Education and Support.
Complete the OPN Membership Enrollment
Application Once you have registered for an Oracle Web Account, log
on to the Oracle PartnerNetwork with your username and password and complete
the online OPN enrollment application. There are helpful features available
to you to assist in completing the enrollment process.

OPN Membership Enrollment Application Section I: Company Info This Company Info section of your OPN profile will be
pre-populated with the details of the person applying for the membership. This
person is automatically nominated as your company's Primary OPN Administrator.
Please provide the activities your organization participates in as well as additional
business information (i.e. Your companys sales revenue). The Primary OPN
Administrator is the main contact person within your company whose role it will
be to manage your OPN Membership.
In this section, you will be asked to select your preferred
Oracle Value-Added Distributor (VAD). In the United States, Partners who want
to resell in order to align with the General Business Sales Teams All
Indirect Model Strategy must work with a Value-Added Distributor. VADs provide
a number of value added services such as pre-sales services, quoting and configuration
assistance, sales training, and financing. Partners whose customers are primarily
Federal, State & Local Government Agencies should select "N/A"
on the pick list and will need to work directly with Oracle and not through
VADs.
Section II. Sign Contract An Oracle PartnerNetwork Agreement will be presented
to you during the membership enrollment process. Your company will need to accept
the terms and conditions of the Oracle PartnerNetwork Agreement either online
or by download, sign and return a faxed copy in order to join OPN. Accepting
the terms & conditions of this agreement online simply involves entering
the name of a contact person within your organization and the title of their
role.
The OPN Agreement does not allow your company to resell Oracle
Software. If you are interested in reselling Oracle software, you must sign
and submit a Distribution Agreement to your local Oracle PartnerNetwork office.
In addition to the instructions noted in this document, choose one of the two
VADs listed in section 6 Oracles Value Added Distributor and select the
VAD in the online OPN Enrollment Form. Both the OPN Full Use Distribution Agreement
and the Designation of Oracle Value Added Distributor Attachment to the OPN
Full Use Distribution Agreement need to be executed by the partner. Review the
terms for all Distribution Agreements.
Section III. Payment Information In the Payment Info section, choose and submit
a mode of payment available in your country. This site is enabled with SSL Encryption
and all information submitted is secure. The annual OPN membership fee is $1,995
USD. The local sales tax will be added to the membership fee where applicable
at time of processing your membership enrollment form. No additional fee is
required when upgrading to the Certified or Certified Advantage level on the
Internet Platform or the E-Business Suite track within the program.
For U.S. partners, payment may be made only by the following
method:
Credit Card - Immediate
payment can be completed by major credit cards. Oracle only accepts VISA,
AMEX or Mastercard. Please enter credit card information in the payment screen.
Section IV. Submit Form
Upon completion of the application, all section headings should be marked with
a red check. Click on the 'Submit Form' link to submit your application to Oracle
for processing. Once approved, you will receive a welcome e-mail alert with
details about your OPN membership and program benefits.
Manage Your OPN Membership Your Primary Administrator is the main point of contact
at your company who is authorized to manage your company's OPN membership. This
includes updating your company profile, renewing your annual membership, upgrading
your membership level, and order partner services such as software. In addition,
the Primary OPN Administrator has the ability to give other employees within
the company these administrative privileges. Please contact your Primary OPN
Administrator if you require administrative privileges. You must be signed in

Update Your OPN Membership Your organizations Oracle PartnerNetwork Profile
can be updated at any time by your OPN Administrator. You

Renew Your OPN Membership Oracle PartnerNetwork Membership is valid for one year
(12 month period), and must be renewed annually in order to have a valid OPN
Membership, to guarantee continued access to the services of OPN and to maintain
the validity of any agreements, such as resale agreements, which are directly
linked to the OPN membership. Only OPN Administrator(s) at your company has
the ability to renew the company OPN membership. Your company's OPN Membership
can be renewed 90 days prior to it's expiration. Renewing your company's OPN
membership involves completing the online enrollment form. You must be signed

may apply for Certified or Certified Advantage level membership. These levels
are reserved for our most committed and qualified partners who have a demonstrated

account management, support and training, increased branding and promotional
opportunities, and access to E-Business Suite software, support and implementation

Sales Info The Sales Info section of your OPN Profile is
where you share information with Oracle about the competencies of your company's
sales force.
Marketing Info The Marketing Info section of your OPN Profile
is where you share information with Oracle about your organizations marketing
activities.
Products/Services The Product/Services section of your OPN Profile
is where you share information with Oracle about your organizations products
and/or services. E-Business Suite (Optional) Questions in the E-Business Suite section of the application
are optional. The OPN E-Business Suite track enables you to expand opportunities
that grow your business. Partners may focus on hosting, integrating solutions
and/or providing implementation services to enhance Oracle's E-Business Suite
offering. Oracle Field sponsorship is required to join the OPN E-Business Suite
track. Information you enter in the E-Business section of the enrollment form
will be reviewed for sponsorship by Oracle. Should you decide to complete this
section of your enrollment form you will be notified by e-mail upon sponsorship
into the E-Business Suite Track. To learn more about the Certified and Certified
Advantage Partner levels, log on to the Oracle PartnerNetwork and select the
'Certified and Certified Advantage Partner Information' link under the Selling
with Oracle portlet.
Change Your OPN Membership Type There are three types of membership within the Oracle
PartnerNetwork -- Standard, Worldwide, and Associate.
Standard
A partner with Standard membership type is a company which has a country-based
Oracle PartnerNetwork membership that allows all locations, within one country,
to access OPN services. Standard OPN partners are responsible for paying applicable
OPN membership fees and executing the Standard OPN Agreement.
Worldwide
A partner with Worldwide membership type is a company whose Oracle PartnerNetwork
(OPN) membership includes all wholly and majority owned subsidiaries, worldwide.
The Worldwide OPN Agreement and membership fees covers all Associate memberships.
However each location requesting an Associate membership must complete a separate
enrollment form. The expiration dates for the Associate membership corresponds
to the expiration dates of the Worldwide membership. The Worldwide partner has
the option, at any time, to deny an Associate membership request or cancel an
existing Associate membership.
Associate
A partner with Associate membership type is a company which is wholly and majority
owned by a Worldwide OPN partner. Associate partners neither pay for OPN fees
or need to execute the OPN Agreement. An Associate membership will expire at
the same time as it's Worldwide membership. Each Associate partner, however,
will complete its own enrollment form and obtain its own OPN membership level
and tracks based on the qualification requirements in the country in which they
are applying for OPN membership. In addition, each Associate membership will
execute their own resell agreements.

Join OPN Through
an Oracle Distributor If you would like an Oracle Distributor to manage
your Oracle PartnerNetwork membership, please contact your local Oracle Distributor.
Oracle has Value Added Distributors who recruit, manage, and support Oracle
PartnerNetwork members.
To locate your local Oracle Distributor:
Log on to the Oracle PartnerNetwork
Under the Sell tab, browse to the 'Oracle VADs' portlet
When you contact your local Oracle Distributor, they
will qualify your company's Oracle competency to ensure that your company meets
the OPN entry criteria. Your Oracle Distributor will be happy to answer any
OPN related queries that you may have. Once your company meets the entry criteria
and you are satisfied that you wish to proceed with joining the Oracle PartnerNetwork,
your Oracle Distributor will initiate your OPN enrollment form online via the
Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN).
Your company will arrange payment for the OPN Membership
directly with their preferred Oracle Distributor. The OPN Membership Fee through
a VAD remains at the standard level of $1,995 USD (plus any applicable local
sales taxes). Your Oracle Distributor will give you the local currency equivalent
of this fee where necessary. Some Oracle Distributors may request that you provide
payment for your company's OPN Membership before they initiate your organizations
OPN Membership online via the OPN.
Initiate Your Company's OPN Membership Enrollment
Application by an Oracle Distributor
Using the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), your Oracle Distributor will initiate
your company's OPN Membership by entering contact details of your company's
OPN Primary Administrator, the individual who will be responsible for managing
your companys OPN membership.
VAD Initiated: OPN
Email Alert Once your Oracle Distributor has initiated your
company's OPN Membership via OPN, your company's Primary OPN Administrator will
receive an email alert inviting them to join OPN. The title of this email alert
is "You Have Been Nominated To Join The Oracle PartnerNetwork". The
email alert will contain a HTML link. Please click on the link to access your
OPN Membership Enrollment Application. If your Primary OPN Administrator did
not receive this email, you should contact your Oracle Distributor. Your company
cannot proceed to the next stage unless this email alert has been received by
your company's Primary OPN Administrator.
Note: You may need to copy and paste the link. Email
settings sometimes render the link too long to string.
VAD Initiated: Signing in to the Oracle PartnerNetwork
Please do not sign in to the Oracle PartnerNetwork until your companys
Primary OPN Administrator has received the You have Been Nominated to
Join the Oracle PartnerNetwork email alert. If your Primary OPN Administrator
does not receive this email, you should contact your Oracle Distributor. Upon
completion of your company's OPN Membership Enrollment Application, you will
be prompted to "SUBMIT" your application to Oracle for processing.
You will then receive a Welcome Email alert with details about your OPN membership.
VAD Initiated: Thank You Screen
Once you have submitted your OPN enrollment form to Oracle, you will be presented
with a Thank You confirmation screen The confirmation screen will advise you
to arrange payment for your Oracle PartnerNetwork membership with your Oracle
Distributor.
Renew and/or Upgrade Your OPN Membership Through
an Oracle Distributor
To renew and/or upgrade your Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Membership, please
contact your Oracle Distributor. Your Oracle Distributor will the qualify your
company's Oracle competency in order to determine at which level your company
should renew their OPN Membership. Your Oracle Distributor will be happy to
answer any OPN related queries that you may have. Your Oracle PartnerNetwork
will then initiate your OPN Renewal Application online via the Oracle PartnerNetwork
(OPN).
