ISV Community on OTN (Oracle Technology Network)

There is now a specific community centre for ISVs as part of OTN. Not only does this enable ISVs to see information that is specifically relevant to them but if you sign up to this community there are many extra benefits.

Oracle Product Technology Services (PTS) can help ISVs move and upgrade their applications to the most suitable Oracle platform and can test and tune Oracle-based applications when they are up and running.

PTS offers four services: Technology Adoption, Design, Migration and Capacity Planning & Tuning. PTS is there every step of the way to ensure you make the best possible use of your investment in Oracle technology.

Training and Education

A rich set of educational content is available to OPN members, starting with access to all of Oracle University's public classes offered at a 35% discount.

In addition to the standard Oracle University curriculum, we offer instructor-led classes exclusively for ISV partners. These classes are created in cooperation with Oracle Development, Oracle University and the Alliances & Channels organisation, and represent the most targeted training available to meet ISVs' needs for developing solutions with Oracle.

OPN members qualify for a 35% discount on all Oracle Certified Associate, Professional and Masters Exams. Oracle will also fully reimburse your exam fees when you successfully complete your OCP certification.

Featured classes for ISVs currently include a comprehensive set of courses about Oracle Application Server 10g. By providing all the middleware services needed to deploy, manage and integrate applications and Web Services, as well as automating business processes, Oracle Application Server 10g technology is critical. Oracle University offers courses to help ISV technical staff learn about the following:
