- Dell | Oracle Systems Management Reference Architecture
In order to enable Oracle database administrators to manage fluctuating database metrics along with server hardware metrics, Dell and Oracle have joined forces to build a reference configuration that integrates Oracle Enterprise Manager with Dell's OpenManage software. This integration provides Dell hardware-specific data within the Oracle Enterprise Manager framework and presents a powerful tool for managing an Oracle Grid on ninth-generation Dell PowerEdge servers. The simplification stemming from a single console, with its single log for hardware, operating system and application exceptions, is a key value proposition of Dell's Scalable Enterprise.
