Special Report:
Management Excellence
July 2008
"Operational excellence, whether you are good at it or not, increasingly is becoming a given," writes Frank Butendijk, VP of EPM strategy in his blog. "There is a decreasing competitive advantage in being even faster, or having an even higher quality or an even lower price. The next competitive edge is about having more insight in large and small changes in the market, and doing something with that. It’s not the operational processes alone that do the trick, it’s the management that makes the difference."
Helping customers achieve this management excellence the next logical step for Oracle according to President Charles Phillips, who, along with other key executives, presented Oracle's EPM strategy this week. He said Oracle's EPM solution provides answers to customers who are telling Oracle, "You've made me more efficient, now make me smarter, more effective, help me manage my business better."
In this special package, you can watch this week's EPM presentation, listen to Buytendijk explain management excellence basics, and read the first issue of a new publication targeting the subject. You can read more about Oracle's EPM's strategy and products on Oracle.com.
