American Century has deployed the Oracle Portal across several different departments. Account Managers access stock portfolio information and financial data, human resources access HR-specific data, consolidated from existing Peoplesoft applications and company executives have specific role-based portlet views. All employees can access a workplace support area for help tickets, facilities, etc. via the Oracle Portal. There are three main offices tied into the portal (NY, CA, MO) all getting information specific to their locations. Oracle portal allows for a role-based presentation of information, newsfeeds and access to peoplesoft resources including reward statements, benefit packages and name/address information.
