E2E Consulting is a leading consulting and technology services firm. Heald is a nonprofit, regionally accredited private career college with campuses throughout the western United States in California, Oregon and Hawaii and have been preparing students for workplace success since their establishment in 1863.

Heald College had a goal to improve student conversion rate by providing better access to real time information. In order to accomplish this E2E Consulting was brought in to help improve their front-office (Recruiting, Marketing, and Student Communication) efficiency, streamline the Student Admissions business process by utilizing salesforce.com and provide reusable services and processes to quickly support future business requirements. E2E chose the Oracle SOA solution in order to build a reliable, standards based solution that limits the IT staffs’ learning curve through the creation of a Service Oriented Architecture based on salesforce.com and PeopleSoft Student Administration. E2E has chosen to use the Oracle PeopleSoft adapter in order to expose PeopleSoft functionality as a Web Service and integrate several other third party applications into Salesforce.com. By utilizing the Oracle BPEL Process Manager component of the Oracle SOA Suite in order to orchestrate the integration between salesforce.com and PeopleSoft (as well as other third party applications) E2E has developed a Service Oriented Architecture that has greatly improved Heald’s access to real time information while reducing costs and improving the flexibility of their IT department.
