According to Eaton Corp, they selected Oracle Content Management solutions to ‘replace the existing, outdated, unsupported, error-prone, content management environment at Eaton with a reliable, expandable, feature-packed, user-friendly solution that will initially support 60 sites.’ The project was deployed in March of 2006 to support 31+ internal web sites enterprise-wide. Oracle provided a scalable solution that enabled Eaton to rapidly develop and deploy web sites that run on a single instance. It provides an environment that is fast, stable and reliable. There are over 30,000 different documents being stored today including, Spreadsheets, PDFs, CAD, Graphics, Digital Assets, Audio Recordings, Scanned Images, etc.
