Ingersoll-Rand Company Limited is a provider of climate control, industrial, compact vehicle, construction and security products. The Company operates in five business segments: Climate Control Technologies, Compact Vehicle Technologies, Construction Technologies, Industrial Technologies and Security Technologies. In February 2007, the Company completed the acquisition of the remaining 40.2% interest in Instrum Rand JSC, a Russia-based company. In October 2006, IR-Limited completed the acquisition of Geith International, a provider of a range of attachments for the construction, excavation, demolition and scrap handling industries. In January 2006, the Company completed the acquisition of an 80% of Shenzhen Bocom Systems Engineering Co. Ltd. In April 2007, the Company sold its Road Development business unit to AB Volvo, in all countries except India. In November 2007, the Company announced the sale of its Bobcat, Utility Equipment and Attachments business units to Doosan Infracore.
