  • NetApp's 3 Largest Distributors have requested Electronic Data Exchange with NetApp
  • Existing Manual PO Submit Processes in unable to scale properly to take advantage of the PartnerEdge system (SAP)
  • Order-to-Invoice Cycle Time too long
  • Lack of Visibility to Order Progress hampered distributors ability to quickly communicate to their customers and adjust orders in a timely fashion.
  • Several teams had to manually review each PO after it's submitted and before it's booked resulting in multiple invoices generated before they could be submitted to distributors.

  • NetApp realized it needed to transform and automate its Order Management and invoicing processes to speed the overall order the cash process and provide better customer & distributor service.
  • Oracle BPEL Process Manager enables simple SOA integration with E-Business Suite
  • Oracle BAM provides the ability to monitor the health of the system in real-time dashboards for efficient process management and exception handling
  • NetApp is plugging many components together:· TIBCO Messaging · TIBCO B2B
  • Oracle BPEL Process Manager & Oracle Business Activity Monitoring to deliver the complete solution
