Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) is a two-year institution delivering learning to approximately 20, 000 full and part-time students throughout the province of Nova Scotia with13 campuses and five community learning centers offer programs and courses in applied arts, communications, industrial trades & technology, business, computer sciences, health & human services, natural sciences, access, customized training for business & government, as well as continuing education and apprenticeship.
In 2006 NSCC was ready to complete its upgrade from PeopleSoft Student Administration and Human Resource Management Systems 8.0 to 8.9. From prior successes NSCC knew it would get expert advice from Oracle Consulting on how to best manage the upgrade of their numerous modifications to the Student Self Service functionality in the new release. NSCC also knew from past experience that it could count on the Upgrade Lab Service from Oracle Consulting to manage the process within their tight timeframe and with excellent attention to detail and high quality of service.
