Sealing Devices Inc., founded in 1963, is a family-owned company and one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of industrial and electronic seals, gaskets, and sealants in North America.
Sealing Devices wanted to make sure the solution it chose would be able to grow with the company. Initially Sealing Devices looked at upgrading and adding onto its existing system. But cobbling together an appropriate system would have meant working with 12 different vendors and as many support centers. As an alternative, Sealing Devices began investigating Oracle products. Oracle had everything it was looking for: a single vendor, a single instance. Even as Sealing Devices evaluated other systems, it kept returning to Oracle. They used Oracle as a benchmark when looking at other software packages. After a year of evaluating software Sealing Devices chose Oracle E-Business Suite.
