Kuassi Mensah is Group Product Manager for Oracle Database Data Access services, Net Services, and database programming APIs (Java, C/C++, PHP, Ruby, Python, Perl). Mr Mensah holds a MS in Computer Sciences from the Programming Institute of University of Paris VI. Software Developer, Oracle. Denis Magda is a member of the Java ME multimedia team. He started working with Java when he was a student at the University. His first Java applications were more or less academical, but when Denis was graduating from the University he created sensor-motor controlling gloves programmable in Java. The gloves were demonstrated at Sun Tech Days and Java One all over the world. Having spent more than five years working with Java, he joined Oracle to take part in the Mobile Java platform development process.
Petr works in IT-industry more than 15 years. The main work arias are software support embedded systems and mobile devices. In year 2005 he joined company Sun Microsystems. Now he is Senior Staff Engineer in Java ME, Oracle.
Ralf Gebhardt, Principal Sales Consultant for MySQL, ORACLE Deutschland B.V. & Co. KG Ralf Gebhardt works as Principal Sales Consultant at ORACLE B.V. & Co. KG . He is competent for products and services for MySQL and responsible for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. After 10 years professional experience in Software Development, Support, Training and Consulting, he 2002 started working at MySQL GmbH as Sales Engineer. In the course of the acquisition of Sun Microsystems he joined Oracle.
Among his duties as Principal Sales Consultant he also performs Webseminars on a regular basis. Ralf Gebhardt holds a masters degree in Computer Engieering from the University of Cooperative Education (in cooperation with IBM Deutschland).
Ben Pashkoff is a Principle Sales Consultant for the Java Embedded Sales Unit, Oracle. He came to Oracle with the acquisition of Sun Microsystems, where over the course of the past 10 years has been a Systems Engineer with the Embedded Software Sales, Sun Software Practice, Java CAPS Specialist, Identity Management Specialist and Java Enterprise Architect. Originally from Houston, Texas, he lives in Netanya, Israel, with his wife and daughters. He enjoys reading (History, Science Fiction, Adventure), his dog, and some gardening. He has been involved in Internet Technologies since 1985 - including the beginnings of Browsers, PHP, and Java.
Roman is a technical lead of Java ME Multimedia team at Oracle Development center in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. His experience in the industry is approximately 7 years, 5.5 of which he has been with Sun Microsystems and, recently, Oracle. Before Sun, Roman was working for a small Russian company producing both hardware and software of embedded systems. At Sun/Oracle, I have been responsible for Java ME JSR-75 (PDA OP), JSR-238 (MI18N), some parts of JSR-135 (MMAPI), and other key areas of Java ME.
