Here's how to access the Siebel CRM On Demand Developer forum on Oracle's Oracle Technology Network
Dear Forum Members:
As of February 9, 2007, the Siebel CRM On Demand Developer forums formerly hosted on this Siebel Online Community site have been relocated to the Oracle Technology Network (OTN). Oracle has long sponsored a vibrant community network, and the move to OTN will allow Siebel forum contributors to take advantage of the richness of content and functionality currently available on the OTN platform. Access to the forum will continue to be granted to Siebel CRM On Demand customers and partners on an approval basis. We are unable to automatically or transparently migrate current forum members from the Siebel Community site to the OTN community. To re-establish access to the Siebel CRM On Demand Developer forum in its new OTN location, eligible members will need to follow these steps:
- Go to the Oracle Technology Network Forums home page at http://forums.oracle.com
- Sign in to OTN Forums with your Oracle Web account credentials using the Sign In link on the right-hand side of the page. Oracle Web accounts are free, so if you do not have one yet, click on the Register link on the Forums home page to create one.
- If creating an Oracle Web account for the first time, you will be asked to:
- Complete all required details about yourself and your company.
- In the My Community Memberships section, mark the checkboxes that correspond to the communities you wish to join. You must select the Oracle Technology Network checkbox in order to access the Developer forum.
- Sign up for any electronic newsletters and other subscriptions that interest you, and click on the Confirm button to complete the profile process.
- After completing the profile process, sign into OTN Forums and you will see your userid in the right-hand corner. If you see Guest, you are not signed in yet.
- Copy your userid and e-mail it to CRMOnDemand-Admin_ww@oracle.com with a request to be added to the Siebel CRM On Demand Developer forum. Include your company name and indicate whether you are an Oracle customer or partner. Only approved partners and customers will be granted access.
- You will receive a welcome e-mail from Customer Care when your access is enabled. Once your account is activated, you will see the Siebel CRM On Demand Developer forum listed on the OTN Forums home page (http://forums.oracle.com) AFTER you log in.
Existing user profiles and user thread history will not be migrated. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to future discussions with you soon in our new OTN forum. Siebel Enterprise forums may be established through an alternative channel at a later date.
