As part of the Oracle Optimized Warehouse Initiative, Oracle and HP have teamed up to create a comprehensive set Data Warehousing reference configurations that enable architects to choose from proven configurations that reflect their raw data size, operating system, processor and architectural preferences. Each reference configuration reflects "real-world" data warehouses that balance processing power, storage, and throughput to provide optimal performance, reliability and scalability.
The Oracle Optimized Warehouse for HP also provides a pre-configured data warehouse based on Oracle Database and the HP BladeSystem. With this latest solution, customers get high performance data warehouses sized from 1 to 4 terabytes running on fast, energy-efficient blade servers. Its also available through Avnet Technology Solutions and a select network of value-added resellers and system integrators.
