How to Manage the ZFS Storage Appliance with JavaScript
You can run CLI commands for the appliance in batch through SSH. You can also run an interactive script through SSH. Finally, you can manage your scripts through the appliance's Worflow Manager. The appliance uses JavaScript with a few extensions. This article describes how.

How I Used CGroups to Manage System Resources
To limit the system resources a particular workload consumes, create a cgroup, allocate a proportion of system resources to it, and assign your workload to that group. That's just one way to use cgroups, a new capability in Oracle Linux 6. Ginny Henningsen describes this and other ways to manage system resources with cgroups.

How Dell Migrated from SUSE Linux to Oracle Linux
In June of 2010, Dell made the decision to migrate 1,700 systems from SUSE Linux to Oracle Linux, while leaving the hardware and application layers unchanged. The people who worked on the migration describe how Dell planned and implemented the migration, including key conversion issues and an overview of their transition process.
