How to Become an Oracle ACE

Want to join Oracle’s global community of respected tech mavens? You're eligible if you've been writing, blogging, tweeting, or otherwise sharing your Oracle-related knowledge.

Get Nominated

Anyone who is making significant contributions to the Oracle community is eligible for nomination. You can even nominate yourself. Fill out the nomination form below for the level that interests you. (All Oracle ACE Director nominations must be accompanied by three references.) Oracle employees are not eligible.

Oracle ACE nominations are reviewed monthly by the Oracle ACE program managers and relevant product team members (based on the candidate's area of expertise). Candidates who are not accepted may apply again at a later date.

    Oracle ACE Associate

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated involvement in at least two of the following areas:
    • Oracle-related blog, community.oracle.com activity, Oracle-related event presentations, published articles, social networks and local user groups

    Benefits

    • Profile in the Oracle ACE Directory
    • Publication of articles and papers on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) website
    • Recognition on OTN and Oracle websites as an Oracle ACE Associate
    • Oracle ACE Program badge on community.oracle.com profile and byline on published articles

    Activities Within the First 3 Months

    Expected:

    • Activate your community.oracle.com profile
    • Subscribe to an Oracle developer newsletter

    Preferred:

    • Start and maintain a social media account

    Activities Within the First 6 Months

    Expected:

    • Start and maintain a social media account

    Plus one or more of the following:

    • Participate in a local user group
    • Actively participate on community.oracle.com
    • Publish one article on OTN

    Activities Within the 12 Months

    Expected:

    • Increase your community participation to reach Oracle ACE status
    • Actively participate on community.oracle.com
    • Maintain an active social media account

    • A history of demonstrated community activism in the areas listed under Oracle ACE Associate qualifications, plus:
    • Book authorship
    • Established social media profile

    • Invitations to participate in Oracle ACE activities
    • Annual complimentary pass to Oracle OpenWorld

    Activities Within the First 3 Months

    Activities Within the First 6 Months

    • Track record of major contributions to the Oracle community
    • One-year commitment to participate in the Oracle ACE program in a nonpaid capacity

    • Fast-track publication of articles and papers on the OTN website

    Activities Within the 12 Months

    Expected:

    • Attend a product briefing for Oracle ACE Directors at Oracle headquarters
    • Maintain ongoing dialogue with your local community
    • Interact with product teams to provide feedback
