Today, the definition and management of audit settings is typically a manual process that relies on scripts. Oracle Audit Vault provides the ability to define audit settings from the Oracle Audit Vault central management dashboard. In addition, Oracle Audit Vault can analyze changes to audit settings by comparing the actual settings on the target Oracle database with the expected audit settings managed through Oracle Audit Vault, helping ensure the audit settings have not been changed. The Oracle Audit Vault console can be used by internal auditors and IT security to demonstrate compliance and repeatable controls to auditors.
