The Oracle Rdb and Oracle Database on OpenVMS Engineering teams are pleased to offer a series of Oracle Rdb and Oracle Database on OpenVMS Technical Forums in various locations around the world. These Forums are offered at no charge and present a series of sessions conducted by acknowledged technical specialists from our development staff and the Oracle Rdb and Oracle Database on OpenVMS community at large. These Oracle Technical Forums should be considered a requirement for anyone wishing to remain completely up-to-date with all the latest enhancements and optimizations in either of these two product familes.



Oracle Rdb and Oracle Database on OpenVMS Engineering held six technical forums around the world in 2011. We look forward to seeing you at our future forums in 2013 and beyond.

Oracle has a very active research organization (Oracle Labs) that is charged to 'Identify, explore, and transfer new technologies that have the potential to substantially improve Oracle's business'. One part of the organization is the External Research Office (ERO). The ERO is charged to ' ... invest in research collaborations that fit Oracle's long-term strategic goals. These collaborations are between university researchers and engineers/researchers throughout Oracle's various organizations'. The ERO webpage lists numerous current and past collaborations. Oracle provides funds and direct interactions with highly experienced developers.
