  • Using MapViewer Heatmap in OBIEE—The visualization of location or geographic contexts within OBIEE has been a well documented feature since version 11g, however there are new visualization libraries from Oracle and third parties that can be added to your OBIEE layouts.   • Multidimensional Analytic Models for Demand-Based Parking in San Francisco—The SFMTA developed SFpark to test new technologies and policies to better manage parking in San Francisco. The SFpark BI team has implemented a variety of BI, Spatial, and Data Integration tools to implement demand-responsive pricing for parking within seven pilot neighborhoods in the City. SFpark staff will discuss the unique analytical model for managing on-street and garage parking, how parking data is gathered in near real time, and then integrated into an Enterprise Data Warehouse. Additionally the presentation will focus on how OBIEE is used to analyze and visualize parking data in both Spatial and Temporal contexts, and how SFpark staff use the tool to operate the program.
