Deploying 3D City Models for Urban and Metropolitan Planning
The 3D City Database provides an object-relational schema for storing large and complex 3D city models originally described in CityGML. It uses Oracle Spatial as the data storage foundation, making extensive use of the SDO_GEOMETRY object type, spatial indexes, spatial queries, and coordinate systems transformation support. This presentation will explore the features, capabilities, and applications of 3DCityDB in detail.
