Quick Start Layout

ADF Faces provides a number of components that you can use to define the overall layout of the page. JDeveloper includes pre-defined page layouts that use these layout components to provide you with a quick and easy way to correctly determine the layout of your pages.

In the Create JSF Page dialog, if you select Quick Start Layout and click Bro wse , you can choose from one, two, or three column layouts, and then determine how you want the columns to behave. For example, you may want a one column layout with a locked header and scrolling panel:

When you use a quick start layout option, JDeveloper adds the components necessary to display the layout. For example:

Once your page file is created, you can add UI components and work with the page source.
