tell me more icon Declarative Components on a Page

Adding declarative components on a page is the same as adding any other ADF Faces components. You select a declarative component from the Component Palette and drop it on the desired location on the page.

Visual editor, page with panel group layout

After adding the declarative component into the panel group layout component, if you switch to the source editor, you will see the declarative component's tag library name space and tag prefix as you had defined in the metadata for the declarative component:

                                <?xml version='1.0' encoding='windows-1252'?> <jsp:root xmlns:jsp="#" version="2.1"           xmlns:f="#"           xmlns:af="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/rich"                                              xmlns:mc="/mycomponents">   <jsp:directive.page contentType="text/html;charset=windows-1252"/>   <f:view>     <af:document..>       <af:form..>         <af:panelGroupLayout layout="scroll"..>           <mc:myMenubar../>         </af:panelGroupLayout>       </af:form>     </af:document>   </f:view> </jsp:root>
