The browse page enables a user to view and navigate through the data objects one at a time. Both a read-only form and read-only table will be added to supply the master/detail functionality in this browse page. You will add components to the
br-o page, to browse orders and order items. The orders are shown one at a time, with the order information in a read-only form and the order's line items in a table.
To enable users to navigate through the data, add navigation buttons in the read-only form. Using a navigation button, a user traverses to the edit page, where the currently displayed order can be edited.
To begin designing the form and table, use the JDeveloper data binding tool, known as the Data Control panel. Oracle ADF data controls are represented on the Data Control panel, where they can be added to the view as UI controls.
The Data Controls panel is part of the Application Navigator. You can access the data controls by expanding the panel. The
FODModuleDataControl node can be expanded to show the structure of the business service.
When you drag a node to the page, the
Create menu displays.
